Even though my efforts in progressing Polykinetics have been overall quiet, I really wanted to share this unbelievably good news with those who have been following Polykinetics either for the last few days or the last several years......

Recapping quickly the last 6 years (in January) , I had been randomly asked from time to time after hours-long conversations if I was ever going to write a book on Polykinetics, and almost immediately it was always followed by a small chuckle and the response of "I'm not a writer".  Well, it looks like that might actually change.  I have bee...

In short, kinetic meditation is inducing a meditative state while you body is physically in motion versus sitting still.  I personally cannot sit still for very long, therefore, tradition meditation wasn't really beneficial to me.  Kinetic meditation is nothing new, it's just not well known, and for those like me, this style of meditation is a complete game changer.

Kinetic meditation is commonly found in various religious communities when they are in prayer, as well as, Tai Chi and yoga. It is believed that adding movement to meditation increases concentration and emotional...

Once I realized that I would have to completely abandon my old way of eating, I started with a simple Google search for, "anti inflammatory foods"; and that is where I started rebuilding a healthy life. Many times, I had read a lot about having a diet with a high concentration of anti-inflammatory foods to help combat depression and anxiety symptoms, as well as, aiding in other brain and body ailments (cognition problems, back pain, knee pain, a severe eczema problem that covered more than 80% of my entire face, and my mood regulation), I had nothing to lose in trying, and I am...

Like every other US-American, my daily diet consisted of nearly all processed foods. Food that came from boxes and seasoning packets to boot. Anything quick, convenient, and of course, tasty.  Little did I know or realize how bad my "western diet" was damaging my health, and not just my body, but my brain as well.  To make matters worse, I had an eating disorder; I was a binge eater.  So not only am I eating all this highly processed food, but binge eating highly processed food. Until, it ended up costing me my gallbladder at 35 years old.  A procedure that is more prevalent in...

I have been involved with mental health and awareness activism since I first realized what "suicide" was.  I was about 8 years old.  I didn't begin having difficulties with life until soon after, I fell into a deep depression and what's worse is that I had to live with the suffering because I belonged to a family and ignorant society that knew more about video games and celebrity gossip than about mental health.  It was hard when you're a kid and you start to show signs of a mental illness and the adults dismiss it because they don't believe children can develop mental illnesses...

Today, I did my session in front of my girlfriend, and she kind of stared at me in a type of confusion with a touch of immediate disbelief, backed by, "that looks easy", "that looks too easy to actually work" and of course I smiled and yelled out "so does figure skating or skatboarding....they all look easy until you physically try them", as my face began to distort against the growing intensity of the lower body sequence I was doing. --After I finished up, and greatly out of breath, I reiterated to her that Polykinetics' is built upon the ideology of simplicity, but again, she...

Over the next several years. I will be focusing the majority of my efforts in producing various demo videos for Youtube, as well as, looking for individuals who would be interested and more importantly, appropriate to learn and then go on to teach Polykinetics at their own respected gym/club.  This opportunity is will also be offered to exceptional freelance trainers as well. --If there is passion, there is potential. Simple.

Currently, there are approximately more than 300,000 general personal fitness trainers in the US*. There are over 52,746 yoga teachers, but P...

This is by far my favorite move within the entire Polykinetics method.  --It's simplistic, fast-acting, hygienic, small-space friendly, easily adaptive with the capacity to be customized from one participant to another based of their abilities and physical needs.  --Just remember two little steps and....voila!  --No more doing out-dated crap that only wastes energy instead of helping to generate it.  The vertical core crunch exercise is nothing really new, but it is highly under utilized for this day and age.  So, I am going to continue to throw in a few posts here and there to...

FIVE years in and I still stand firm in my theory that Polykinetics will become the next "big thing" to hit the fitness and health communities, and if I am extremely lucky, the biggest thing in the mental health community as well. --To date, walking/running are still said to be the most "efficient and effective for of physical exercise", and for a long time, that WAS true....until 2014, when Polykinetics came to be.

Now, I was never out to dethrone walking/running exercises from the workout hierarchy, that happened on accident; what I was out to do was to create a method that wou...

Since starting this journey, I knew almost immediately that at some point down the road, I would have to post and share videos demonstrating the Polykinetics method. I also knew how much of a problem that realization would be for someone like me. I was far from over joyed at the thought of opening myself up to potential harm that could jeopardize my MDD recovery progress. Therefore, I would ponder for hours, days, then onto weeks to months about how to get the damn Youtube videos made without having to use myself in front of the camera. After all, I'm an instructor, not a model....
